Since working with Underscore, the AI-driven chatbot and mobile app has helped FCM Travel consultants save 50,000 hours, allowing them to focus on more complex tasks. The efficiency gains that SAM contributed to FCM Travel resulted in a 13% increase in total transaction value per consultant and plays a key role in the productivity gains of FCM’s corporate division, which recently achieved a record TTV of $12.3 billion.
In the travel industry, SAM is now widely recognised as a “game-changer” for its ability to provide instant, tailored, and secure information to it’s users.
The goal for Sam was to create a credible face and personality to launch and build awareness of this industry changing artificial intelligence.
We developed an integrated strategy to build curiosity behind who Sam is and introduce the benefits to business audiences, including giant digital screens that replicated the in pocket mobile experience.

Concentrating on the target audience of each brand/product Underscore has integrated Sam into a variety of formats including launching it as part of the Corporate Traveller brand as Your CT Assistant at the Business Travel Show.
